Abhainn Rí Cottages are owner managed and we are available to help and advise you from enquiry to departure. We meet and greet our guests personally and we offer friendly advice and assistance. Many guests have returned several times since we first welcomed our first guests in 2002.

Awarded VAS 3
One cottage has gained the very high standard of VAS 3 (Validated Accessible Scheme 3) wheelchair approval with Failte Ireland (Irish Tourist Board). This cottage is the only fully approved cottage in Wicklow and on the East Coast of Ireland.
This cottage is ideal for a wheelchair user or maybe someone using a walking aid.
This specially adapted cottage has a ramp to entrance, extra wide doorways, lower light fittings, downstairs master bedroom, fully equipped en suite with approved bathroom fixtures and fittings, wet room style shower with wall mounted seat. The sleeping area has approved lateral transfer.
