At Abhainn Ri we have two golf courses within five minutes drive.Blessington Lakes Golf Club is set in the panoramic setting of Boystown in the heart of the Wicklow countryside. Tulfarris Golf course is also within a very short distance to Abhainn Ri cottages for an early morning round of golf overlooking the lakes and the plains of Kildare.

Equestrian and Horse Riding Schools

Brennanstown Riding School has excellent facilities, including 3 outdoor manages, an indoor arena, full cross-country course and access to the magnificent adjoining Killruddery Estate, with panoramic views from the Little Sugarloaf Mountain. During the Summer months Brennanstown Riding School run The Little Sugar Loaf Explorer. This ride is suitable for riders of all standards even those who have never ridden a horse before.Glendalough Equestrian and Adventure Centre is located in the truly spectacular setting of Glendalough Estate in County Wicklow. This historic property is a dream come true for equestrian lovers with acres of mature woodland and the beautiful Avonmore River running through the grounds of the Estate.
