If you enjoy or wish to sample Irish country life we offer our guests the facility to freely wander and enjoy leisure walks. Located overlooking the Blessington Lakes on 100 acres of Wicklow farmland you can enjoy wonderful views of the Irish countryside. Some of our friendly animals such as our very colourful hens, ducks, donkeys, ponies, cattle, pigs, goats and Jacob sheep will greet you on your way. Children are welcome to help us feed the animals, just need to bring along your boots.
At Abhainn Ri cottages overlooking the Blessington lakes you can try a different activity every day as Wicklow has lots of family fun & leisure activities that everyone can enjoy. or simply enjoy a farm activity holiday where you can wander freely on 100 acres enjoying the wonderful scenery.
Wicklow has superb heritage sites and wonderful houses and gardens such as Glendalough, Russborough House, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Kilruddery or Avondale House and Gardens. Visit Kildares National Stud and Japanese Gardens for a wonderful day out. You can even go and visit the Kildare Outlet Village for lots of fun shopping and great designer items at great prices.
After a fun packed busy day you may wish to relax and have a lovely Abhainn Ri home cooked meal made specially to order and delivered to your door.
